SchO-70 switchboards

SchO-70 LV switchboards are designed to bundle the 0.4 kV 3-phase 50 Hz switchgear with a dead-grounded neutral. The panels serve to receive and distribute the electrical energy, protect from overloads and short circuit currents.

Design

Standard SchO-70 switchboard is a steel welded structure made of bent sheet profiles with mounting points for electrical equipment.

According to their purpose, there are the following types of SchO-70 switchboards:

- entry;

- sectional;

-linear;

-entry-linear (entry-sectional);

- street lighting dispatcher control;

- with devices for automatic transfer, etc.

The switchboards are of one-side service type, all control of the disconnectors, circuit breakers, devices, and throw switches is facilitated via the drives on the front side of the cabinet with completely closed doors.

Following switching devices can be installed in the switchboard: stationary and withdrawable circuit breakers; throw switches; disconnectors; fuses.

Switchboards are manufactured with prefabricated busbars with peak withstand current of 30 kA (up to 630 kVA) and 50 kA (above 630 kVA). The busbars are located in the upper part of the switchboard and on the front side they are covered with a protective panel where electrical measuring instruments (ammeters, voltmeter) are mounted.

Mounting profile for fixing wires and cables is welded to the lower belt of the switchboard. Bus or cable entry.

In case of two-row arrangement of the SchO-70 switchboards, the installation of bus bridges is provided.

Bus bridge is mounted on the switchboards that face each other and is a metal structure consisting of two supports and base, with support insulators and buses mounted on it. Bus bridges have fencing at the bottom and on the sides to protect from accidental contact with current-carrying buses. Busbar bridges are installed without disconnectors.
